No. Our complete playbook will teach you every aspect of running an after school sports program, summer camp program and developmental youth sports leagues.
Our initial training camp consists of approximately two weeks of classroom and on-site training at our dedicated training facility in Tampa, Florida. In addition, one of our representatives will be at your site for up to 5 days during your first week of operation.
You will learn our techniques, methods, and beliefs and receive the certifications necessary to hit the ground running (no pun intended).
We will help you in the process of evaluating and selecting the best location to start your franchise.
Desirable venues include:
Ideally, we would like to select a venue that has approximately 1,500--1,800 square feet of space for indoor activities and outdoor areas that can accommodate sports such as tennis, soccer, golf, basketball and football.
Yes. Our Franchise Disclosure Document describes all the equipment and supplies you will need to operate your business. Each location you open will need to be equipped.
The advantage of owning a PROtential Sports Franchise is that you can start small and grow into other venues over time. Our territories are determined by a joint review of the geography that you want to serve and the total number of venues that may be available. The area that we define will be a protective territory and made part of your franchise agreement. We will also provide you a first right of refusal for adjacent territories at the time of your franchise closing.
The initial franchisee fee is $35,000. You will pay ongoing royalties of 10% of gross sales up to $800,000, then an adjusted percentage of gross sales above $800,000. We ask that you spend a minimum of 4% a month on marketing, which includes local marketing, cooperative marketing and your national marketing.
Your first location will generally open within 3 months of signing your agreement. If your initial venue has already been identified, the time to open can be reduced considerably.
Yes. We are strong believers that you will need to provide a clear message about the differences between our program and other competing programs. We won’t shy away from a little friendly competition, but since our program is so different than the other after school and summer camp programs in the marketplace, we need to help parents understand the choices they have available to them.
We have an extensive social media policy that we have coupled with best practices. Some storeowners are better equipped than others to monitor and manage their social media presence. We will discuss this at length during training and you will be all set up before you open your venue.
